Fuminori Abe konnte die Fans bereits beim letzten 16 Carat Gold-Wochenende überzeugen und ist auch dieses Jahr ist er wieder mit dabei. Der japanische Wrestler ist vor allem für Puroresu-Fans ein Geheimtipp. Man kennt ihn vor allem aus BJW, Pro-Wrestling BASARA und auch AJPW. Auf japanisch hat er uns Fragen zu seiner Teilnahme, seinem Style und seinen Zielen beantwortet.
Wrestling-Infos.de: Das ist dein zweites 16 Carat Gold-Turnier. Was gefällt dir an dem Event am meisten?
Fuminori Abe: Bei diesem Turnier kann ich der Welt beweisen, dass das Wrestling, das ich in verschiedenen japanischen Promotions entwickelt habe, ziemlich stark und überzeugend ist.
Wrestling-Infos.de: Das letzte 16 Carat-Gold war auch dein erstes Mal in Deutschland. Was ist für dich der größte Unterschied zwischen dem Publikum in Japan und dem Publikum in Deutschland?
Fuminori Abe: Das deutsche Publikum ist einfach so enthusiastisch, dass es einfach toll ist, dort zu kämpfen. Viele Menschen schätzen das langsame Wrestling und es fällt einem sehr leicht zu kämpfen. Besonders gerührt war ich, als sie während unseres Kampfes beim letzten Turnier ein Anfeuerungslied für mich und Irie-san gesungen haben.
Wrestling-Infos.de: Aus dem jetzigen Teilnehmerfeld, auf wen freust du dich am meisten?
Fuminori Abe: Ich freue mich darauf, alle Kämpfer zu sehen, da ich normalerweise nicht gegen sie antrete. Sollte ich gegen Irie-san kämpfen, hoffe ich, dass ich „japanisches Wrestling“ in Deutschland präsentieren kann.
Wrestling-Infos.de: Letztes Jahr bist du bis ins Finale von Ambition gekommen. Was wäre dir wichtiger, ein Sieg beim AMBITION-Turnier oder beim 16 Carat Gold-Turnier?
Fuminori Abe: Da ich ursprünglich eher das Ambition als das 16 Carat Turnier kannte und verfolgt habe, denke ich, dass das Ambition für mich eine größere Bedeutung hat.
Wrestling-Infos.de: Gefällt die das Konzept von AMBITION und dass es Shoot Style außerhalb von Japan gibt?
Fuminori Abe: Ich denke, dass es sehr gut ist. Es ist sehr interessant, weil es bis zu einem gewissen Grad anders ist als der japanische Stil. Ich kannte Timothy Thatcher, Ilya Dragunov und Axel, und ich interessiere mich daher sehr für den europäischen Wrestling-Stil und habe noch viel zu lernen.
Wrestling-Infos.de: Welchen berühmten japanischen Shoot Style-Kämpfer findest du am besten?
Fuminori Abe: Antonio Inoki. Denn ich denke, dass Strong Style, Shoot Style und American Wrestling alle in Antonio Inoki vereint sind.
Wrestling-Infos.de: Dein großes Vorbild ist Atsushi Aoki, richtig? Hast du dir etwas von ihm abschauen können?
Fuminori Abe: Ja. Er ist eines meiner Vorbilder. Ich imitiere den Teil der Ringkampftechnik und den Rhythmus beim Attackieren.
Wrestling-Infos.de: Was hat Atsushi Aoki für dich ausgemacht?
Fuminori Abe: Er ist einer meiner wichtigsten Lehrer, welcher mir viele Grundlagen des Wrestlings beigebracht hat.
Wrestling-Infos.de: Du bist Fan von Fu-Ten „Bati Bati“, richtig?
Fuminori Abe: Battlarts und Fu-Tens ‚Bati-Bati‘ haben den größten Einfluss auf meine Wrestling-Karriere gehabt.
Wrestling-Infos.de: Nachdem du 2022 bereits das Finale erreicht hast, ist ein Turniersieg ein großes Ziel von dir?
Fuminori Abe: Ja selbstverständlich.
Wrestling-Infos.de: Am 1. März steigt in der Korakuen Hall das „All Star Junior Festival“. Würde es dich reizen dort teilzunehmen und gegen die besten Junior Heavweights aus Japan antreten zu können?
Fuminori Abe: Natürlich würde mich das interessieren.
Wrestling-Infos.de: Kota Sekifuda hat den BJW Junior Heavyweight Title schon seit beinahe zwei Jahren. Was planst du,, um ihm den Title abzunehmen?
Fuminori Abe: Einfach alles im Bati-Bati-Stil aufmischen.
Wrestling-Infos.de: Zusammen mit Takuya Nomura bildest du das Tag Team „Astronauts“. Besteht die Chance das man euch außerhalb von Japan sehen kann?
Fuminori Abe: Natürlich ist es mein großer Traum, mit ‚Astronauts‘ in das Ausland aufzubrechen.
Wrestling-Infos.de: Was sind eure Ziele als Tag Team?
Fuminori Abe: Es geht darum, ein renommiertes Tag-Team zu werden, nicht nur in Japan, sondern weltweit.
Wrestling-Infos.de: Was bevorzugst du mehr – Tag Team-Wrestling oder Singles-Wrestling?
Fuminori Abe: Ich mag sie beide. Ich fühle mich ein bisschen einsam, wenn ich alleine bin, deshalb bevorzuge ich wahrscheinlich Team-Wrestling.
Wrestling-Infos.de: Seit Dezember bist du nicht mehr bei BASARA unter Vertrag. Willst du erstmal Freelancer bleiben oder kannst du dir vorstellen mit einer Promotion zu signen?
Fuminori Abe: Es ist meine Aufgabe, Battlarts zu entwickeln, die in dieser Zeit weiterentwickelt wurden.
Wrestling-Infos.de: Was sind deine Pläne nach dem Carat?
Fuminori Abe: Ich möchte meinen Namen in der ganzen Welt bekannt machen Auch um den Bati-Bati-Stil in der weltweit zu verbreiten.
Wrestling-Infos.de: 16カラットゴールドトーナメントに参加するのは今回が2回目ですね。この大会があなたにとって特別なものである理由は何ですか？
阿部史典: 私が日本の様々な団体で培っているレスリングは“強い“という事を世界に証明する事ができる大会だからです。
Wrestling-Infos.de: 前回、16カラットトーナメントに参加されたのは、ドイツに初めて来られたときでもありましたね。日本のプロレスの観客とドイツの観客の違いをどのように説明されますか？
阿部史典:ドイツの観客はみんなとにかく盛り上がりがすごいので戦っていてとにかく気持ちが良いです。
じっくりとしたレスリングの試合が好きな人が多いしとてもやりやすいです。
この前の大会の時の試合中に自分と入江さんの応援歌を歌ってくれたのはすごく感動しました。
Wrestling-Infos.de: 現在の出場選手を見て、どの対戦相手を一番楽しみにしていますか？
阿部史典:普段戦う事のない選手ばかりなのでどの選手でもとても楽しみです。
その中でもし入江さんと戦う事があればドイツで「日本のプロレス」を見せられたらなと思います。
Wrestling-Infos.de: 昨年は「アンビション」の決勝トーナメントに進出されましたね。最終的にどちらの勝利があなたにとってより大きな意味を持つのでしょうか？野望を勝ち取るか、16カラットのゴールドを勝ち取るか？
阿部史典: 私はもともと「16カラットトーナメント」よりも「アンビション」を知っていて見ていたので、アンビションのほうが自分にとって大きな意味を持っている思います。
Wrestling-Infos.de: アンビショントーナメントの理念は好きですか？また、日本以外の国にもシュートスタイルプロレスがあることをどう感じていますか？
阿部史典: とても良い事だと思います。
日本のシュートスタイルとは少し違いがあったりしてとても面白いです。
ティモシーサッチャー選手や、イリヤドラグノフ選手、アクセル選手も知っていたし、ヨーロッパのレスリングスタイルにはとても興味があって学びたい事がたくさんあります。
今は日本でよくティモシーサッチャーと練習させてもらって色々教わっています。
Wrestling-Infos.de: 個人的に一番好きな日本のシュートスタイル・レスラーは？その理由は？
阿部史典: アントニオ猪木です。
なぜならストロングスタイルも、シュートスタイルも、アメリカンプロレスも全てアントニオ猪木に詰まっていると思うからです。
Wrestling-Infos.de: ご存知のように、ご自身のプロレスのお手本は青木篤志さんですね。青木さんの特徴で、真似しているところはありますか？
阿部史典: はい。私のお手本の1人です。
レスリングテクニックの部分と攻撃する時のリズムを真似しています。
Wrestling-Infos.de: 青木篤志さんを特別扱いした理由は何だと思いますか？
阿部史典: 私にプロレスの基礎を色々教えてくれた大切な先生の1人だからです。
Wrestling-Infos.de: Fu-Ten「Bati Bati」のファンなんですよね？
阿部史典: BattlartsやFu-Tenの「Bati-Bati」は私のプロレス人生に1番大きな影響を与えています。
Wrestling-Infos.de: 2022年にすでに決勝に進出していますが、優勝は大きな目標ですか？
阿部史典: はい、もちろんです。
Wrestling-Infos.de: 3月1日、後楽園ホールで「オールスタージュニアフェスティバル」が開催されます。日本のジュニアヘビー級の強豪選手と対戦することに興味はありますか？
阿部史典: もちろん興味があります。
Wrestling-Infos.de: 関札皓田さんはBJWジュニアヘビー級王座を約2年間保持している。彼からタイトルを奪うために、どうするつもりですか？
阿部史典: Bati-Batiスタイルを全てぶつけるだけです。
Wrestling-Infos.de: 野村卓矢さんとのタッグチーム「アストロノーツ」を結成していますね。海外でもタッグチームとして見られる可能性はあるのでしょうか？
阿部史典: もちろん「アストロノーツ」で海外に行く事は私の一つの大きな夢です。
Wrestling-Infos.de: タッグチームとしての共通の目標は何ですか？
阿部史典: 日本だけじゃなくて世界的に有名なタッグチームになる事です。
Wrestlinf-Infos.de: 個人的にはどのようなプロレスが好きなのでしょうか？チームプロレスかシングルプロレスか？
阿部史典: どちらも好きですが、
1人だと少し寂しいので、チームプロレスの方が好きかもしれません。
Wrestling-Infos.de: 12月よりBASARAとの契約は終了しています。とりあえずフリーランスでいたいのか、それとも昇進して契約することが考えられるのか。
阿部史典: この時代に進化したBattlartsを作る事が私のやるべき事です。
Wrestling-Infos.de: 16カラットゴールドのトーナメントを終えて、次の目標は何ですか？
阿部史典: 世界中に私の名前を広める事。
そしてBati-Batiスタイルを世界中に広める事です。
Wrestling-Infos.de: This is your second 16 Carat Gold tournament. What do you like most about the event?
Fuminori Abe: In this tournament I can prove to the world that the wrestling I have developed in various Japanese promotions is quite strong and convincing.
Wrestling-Infos.com: The last 16 Carat Gold was also your first time in Germany. What is the biggest difference for you between the audience in Japan and the audience in Germany?
Fuminori Abe: The German audience is just so enthusiastic, it’s just great to wrestle there. Many people appreciate slow wrestling and it’s very easy to fight. I was especially touched when they sang a cheering song for me and Irie-san during our fight at the last tournament.
Wrestling-Infos.de: Out of the current field of competitors, who are you most looking forward to?
Fuminori Abe: I’m looking forward to seeing all the fighters as I don’t usually compete against them. If I fight Irie-san, I hope I can present „Japanese wrestling“ in Germany.
Wrestling-Infos.de: Last year you made it to the finals of Ambition. What would be more important to you, winning the AMBITION tournament or the 16 Carat Gold tournament?
Fuminori Abe: Since I originally knew and followed the Ambition rather than the 16 Carat tournament, I think the Ambition is more important to me.
Wrestling-Infos.de: Do you like the concept of AMBITION and that Shoot Style exists outside of Japan?
Fuminori Abe: I think it’s very good. It’s very interesting because it’s different from Japanese style to a certain extent. I knew Timothy Thatcher, Ilya Dragunov and Axel, so I am very interested in the European wrestling style and I still have a lot to learn.
Wrestling-Infos.de: Which famous Japanese shoot style fighter do you think is the best?
Fuminori Abe: Antonio Inoki. Because I think Strong Style, Shoot Style and American Wrestling are all united in Antonio Inoki.
Wrestling-Infos.de: Your big role model is Atsushi Aoki, right? Did you learn something from him?
Fuminori Abe: Yes. He is one of my role models. I imitate his wrestling technique part and the rhythm when attacking.

Fuminori Abe: He is one of my most important teachers, who taught me many basics of wrestling.
Wrestling-Infos.de: You are a fan of Fu-Ten „Bati Bati“, right?
Fuminori Abe: Battlart and Fu-Ten’s ‚Bati-Bati‘ have had the biggest influence on my wrestling career.
Wrestling-Infos.com: Having already reached the finals in 2022, is a tournament win a big goal of yours?
Fuminori Abe: Yes, of course.

Fuminori Abe: It’s about becoming a renowned tag team, not only in Japan but worldwide.
Wrestling-Infos.de: What do you prefer more – tag team wrestling or singles wrestling?
Fuminori Abe: I like them both. I feel a bit lonely when I am alone, so I probably prefer team wrestling.
Wrestling-Infos.de: Since December you are no longer under contract with BASARA. Do you want to stay a freelancer for now or can you imagine signing with a promotion?
Fuminori Abe: It is my job to develop Battlarts, which have been developed further during this time.
Wrestling-Infos.de: What are your plans after Carat?
Fuminori Abe: I want to make my name known all over the world. I also want to spread the Bati-Bati style all over the world.
